Lightweight High Alumina Bricks Applications
Lightweight high alumina bricks have the advantages of high refractoriness, good thermal shock resistance, and are often used as insulating lining of high temperature kilns and furnaces. High quality light high alumina bricks can be used to line kiln working lining where directly contact with flame, but they can’t be used at places where suffer molten slag corrosion. Lightweight high alumina bricks have good chemical stability at reductive atmosphere, for example, the insulating linings of kilns with H2 or CO protective atmosphere are usually built by lightweight high alumina bricks. The working temperature of lightweight high alumina bricks is about 1350~1500℃, high purity high alumina bricks’ max. working temperature can reach to 1650~1800℃.
