High purity corundum brick are premium refractory products which contain more than 99% of Al2O3. High purity corundum bricks have better high temperature performance than ordinary corundum bricks. Based on production methods, high purity corundum brick are classified into Rebonded fired corundum bricks and re-bonded fused corundum bricks. Rebonded fused corundum bricks are made from fused corundum clinker aggregate and fine powders. During fused corundum bricks production, the raw materials are strictly selected to promise the good quality of corundum bricks. Fused corundum bricks have higher purity, therefore, the sintering of fused corundum bricks is difficult, sintering temperature should be higher than 1800℃.

High Purity Corundum Bricks Applications
Their main applications high purity corundum brick are high temperature tunnel kiln sintering zone, graphite baking furnace working lining, nonferrous metals smelting furnace and so on. High purity corundum bricks are also widely used in glass furnace clarification part, cooling part, working tank, upper structure, suspended wall, breast wall and so on. Besides, α-β alumina bricks are also used in crown top and upper structure of glass kilns, runner of continuous casting allocators and slide rail of heating furnaces.
